The Center for Lifelong Learning (CeLL) of Samar State University successfully launched the AI for Lifelong Learning system on April 10, 2026, at the RICโ€“Audio Visual Center, marking a major milestone in promoting technology-driven lifelong learning and community transformation.

During the event, Dr. Marife Matic Mustacisa-Lacaba, CeLL Director and project leader, presented the project overview, highlighting its framework and role in supporting responsive, AI-assisted learning initiatives. The official system launch was followed by a hands-on training session led by system developer Mar June J. Gabon, who demonstrated the platformโ€™s features and guided participants on its use.

Faculty researchers, extensionists, and representatives from various university units actively joined the project simulation and system evaluation. Feedback from users was highly positive, with participants describing the platform as efficient, accessible, helpful for monitoring, and a valuable paperless tool for research and extension. Several also recommended wider adoption and mass training to maximize its use across campuses.

The program concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Florabelle B. Patosa, who emphasized collaboration and innovation in advancing lifelong learning. This project also forms part of a capstone initiative under the Development Academy of the Philippines.
