CATBALOGAN CITY, Philippines—The entire Samar State University (SSU) community is gathered today, November 25, at the Maceda Gymnasium for the 2025 University President’s State of the University Address (SUA), a key institutional event reflecting the university’s progress and direction.
Themed, “Nurturing the Seed of Excellence,” the ceremony has now officially commenced featuring the University President Redentor S. Palencia, Ed.D., who will later deliver the 2025 State of the University Address.
The University and Board Secretary has called for the Order of Procedures, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services has called for petition, called for commencement by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, affirmed by the Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Summoned by the Vice President for Research and Extension Services, the Faculty Regent, and the Board of Regents Representative
This year’s SUA reinforces the University’s dedication to live up to the roots sowed by its predecessors as it thrives and strives to nurture the seeds of excellence for a stronger and more forward-moving SSU.
